PH DESCRIPTIVE TEXT (UH-4)

 Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog.This is the last blog in this chapter (^_^♪)

Describe means to provide details about what someone or something looks like.ᐠ( ᐛ )ᐟ

So, descriptive text means one type of English text which contains a detailed description or picture of an object.

Usually the object described can be inanimate objects, places, or humans and other living things. This type of text is used to describe people, places or objects in such a way that an image is formed in the reader's mind. Descriptive text provides information about how something or someone looks, this text uses words to describe what something or someone is like.

today I did an English test, and I got a perfect score. ヾ(＾-＾)ノ

Descriptive text has several social functions including to boast, to sell, to recognize and identify. 

- Social function:

•to identify/acknowledge

•To promote

•To compliment/be proud of

- Text Structure:

•Identification

•Characteristic

•Activity

- Grammatical Features:

•words or phrase related to describe tourist spots

•Adverb such as quite, very,extremely etc

• passive voice

•Present tense
